Shipping policy
We ship in-stock items from our store in Hudson, NY and work hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Here's what to expect.
1. In-Stock Orders
Items that are in stock are typically shipped within the same week your order is placed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
2. Backorders, Special Orders & Custom Orders
For items that are on backorder, made to order, or require custom configuration, we will provide an estimated ship date at or after the time of purchase. Please be aware:
• Lead times and ship dates are estimates and may shift due to production schedules, supply chain conditions, or carrier delays
• Valley Variety is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers or shipping carriers
• We will notify you promptly if your estimated ship date changes

3. Freight Shipping (Large & Oversized Items)
Standard Freight Delivery
Furniture and oversized items ship via freight carrier. Standard freight delivery includes curbside delivery only. It does not include inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, or furniture assembly.
White Glove & Inside Delivery
If you'd like inside delivery or white glove service (including furniture assembly), please contact us before placing your order so we can arrange a cost estimate:

Scheduling Your Freight Delivery
The freight carrier will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment at the agreed time. Valley Variety is not responsible for additional fees or failed deliveries resulting from inaccessible delivery locations or missed appointments.
Storage Fees
If a custom or special order shipment cannot be delivered within 14 days of the carrier notifying you of its arrival, storage fees may apply. We will notify you if this situation arises and work with you to find a solution.
4. Third-Party & AI-Assisted Orders
If you placed an order through a third-party platform or AI-assisted tool that references our products, your shipping terms are governed by this policy — not the third-party platform. Valley Variety is the seller and shipper of record. Please contact us directly with any shipping questions.
5. Damaged Shipments
Please inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt. If your order arrives damaged or is incorrect, notify us within 5 business days at shop@valleyvariety.com or 518-828-0033. Include photos and a written description, and do not discard any original packaging. See our Return Policy for full details.
