Return policy

We want you to love what you bring home from Valley Variety. If something isn't right, here's how we handle it. This policy applies to all purchases — whether made in-store, through our website, or initiated via a third-party platform or AI-assisted channel.

Before sending anything back, please contact us first at shop@valleyvariety.com so we can review your request and provide return instructions.

 

1. Return Window

Eligible items may be returned for store credit within 14 days of the delivery date. To qualify:

       The item must be unused and in its original condition

       It must be returned in its original packaging

       You must contact us at shop@valleyvariety.com before shipping anything back

Items that show signs of use or have been altered will not be accepted for credit. Original shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your store credit.

 

2. Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

       Special or custom orders

       Floor samples

       Discounted and discontinued sale items

       Gift cards

 

3. Exchanges

We replace items only if they arrive defective or damaged. Exchanges are subject to stock availability at the time of the return. If the item is no longer available and cannot be reordered, we will issue a refund rather than store credit.

 

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your shipment arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, you must notify us within 5 business days of delivery by emailing shop@valleyvariety.com or calling 518-828-0033.

When reporting a damaged or incorrect item, please include:

       Photos of the item and packaging

       A written description of the issue

Do not discard the original packaging — it may be needed for a carrier claim. We will work quickly to make it right.

 

5. Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, we will issue a gift certificate for the value of the returned item once we receive it.

If the item was not marked as a gift at purchase, or was shipped to the gift giver first, store credit will be issued to the original purchaser.

 

6. How to Return an Item

Return shipping costs are your responsibility. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Valley Variety is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit during a return.

 

7. Channel-Agnostic Coverage

This policy applies regardless of how or where you purchased your item — valleyvariety.com, in-store, or through a third-party platform or AI-assisted tool. Valley Variety is the seller of record in all cases. Please contact us directly to initiate any return or exchange.
