The Edward is Bensen’s contemporary reinterpretation of the mid-century archetype inspired by designer Edward Wormley. The sofa combines the use of down-filled back cushions with a tufted seat cushion, giving it a relaxed appearance and while alluding to its mid-century roots. Distinctly contemporary, the Edward sofa’s backrest and arms are scaled for excellent lumbar support and superb comfort without appearing oversized and heavy.
The durable steel frame featuring an elastic web suspension system partners perfectly with precision-cut foam to enhance comfort and offer a tailored appearance.
The down-filled back cushions have been carefully crafted for durability, firmness and comfort—then baffled and batted to prevent shifting. The seat cushions are made of CFC-free polyurethane and softened by a full Dacron wrap.
