The Hyg Collection of chairs and stools is the latest example of uncomplicated, contemporary design from Normann Copenhagen. Based on the Danish idea of coziness, the collection offers comfort and support along with a perfect visual experience.

Made to withstand heavy use, the wood legs provide a durable and at the same time elegant foundation for the organically shaped seat. The option of upholstering the front of the seat adds an eye-catching combination of the durable, design-friendly polypropylene shell with your choice of fabric or leather. Plus, the front upholstered cushioning enhances both comfort and coziness. The Hyg stool is ideal seating for having a meal, a drink or simply a gathering spot for conversation in home or commercial settings.

“The moments where we sit down together, immerse ourselves in conversation and share a meal, for me this is where the cosiness is greatest. It was therefore quite natural that the Hyg series should also be able to form a framework for those experiences. The feeling of cosiness is not only linked to the visual experience of the design, it depends on the whole sensory experience. A huge amount of work has gone into designing the chair so that it offers rest and support to the body - to make it comfortable to sit in, quite simply. "
