Blockitecture was created by James Paulius for an industry projects class at Rochester Institute of Technology. Each set is inspired by actual design projects or styles and features 10 architectural building blocks of varying sizes.

Habitat is the first of the Blockitecture series. The forms were inspired by Habitat 67, a housing complex and pavilion designed by Moshe Safdie for the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal, Canada. Deco soon followed with shapes and colors inspired by post-modern design.

With Blockitecture, creativity, fantasy and fun become a learning experience for any child—or possibly your inner child.

Materials: New Zealand pine and water-based paint

Made exclusively for Areaware, Brooklyn NY.
